DAVID graduated from The University of Wisconsin - Whitewater after serving in the U.S. Navy for two years. He joined Powers Regulator Company in industrial sales in Chicago, then Milwaukee, and then Denver. DAVID joined the Chicago office of a national chain for recruiting and grew the company dramatically, ending as the C.O.O. DAVID then negotiated the purchase of the Chicago office, changed the name of the company to THE McNALLY GROUP and grew the company into one of the largest, independent recruiting companies in the U.S. serving the food, consumer, and food service products industries. During this time period, DAVID also attended the University of Chicago’s executive program and earned an M.B.A.

In 1984 DAVID conceived a new structure for a recruiting company, sold THE McNALLY GROUP, and founded DAVID FOCKLER & ASSOCIATES, INC. to assist FOOD, CONSUMER, and HBC manufacturers in their search and selection of SALES and MARKETING MANAGEMENT professionals.

DAVID moved to Monterey from Chicago in 1996, has two beautiful daughters starting successful careers, is active in all sports, but has been known to play racquetball at any hour, anywhere.
